Front Desk Agent (Floater) - Unicoi State Park & Lodge

**Job Summary:** FLOATER - must have flexible shift availability.
As a Front Desk Agent (Floater) at Unicoi State Park & Lodge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by assisting guests with check-in and check-out processes, handling reservations, answering phone calls, and addressing special requests. You will be expected to adhere to standard policies and procedures to ensure a seamless guest experience.

**Responsibilities:**
- Handle guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
- Possess thorough knowledge of hotel credit and check cashing policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with hotel property, staff, and services, including hours of operation.
- Efficiently handle guest check-ins and check-outs in a professional and friendly manner.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of room locations, types, and selling strategies.
- Execute cash handling procedures accurately.
- Understand hotel rates, discounts, and reservation procedures.
- Adhere to Lodge policies and procedures regarding grooming and safety standards.
- Maintain positive working relationships with other Lodge associates.
- Be flexible with work schedules due to the Lodge's 24/7 operations.
- Accomplish all duties and responsibilities promptly to meet company objectives.

**Qualifications:**
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, clients, and colleagues.
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Reasoning ability to address problems in standardized situations.
- Working knowledge of computer systems and point of sale operations.
