Banquet Server & Setup Team Member

Are you someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, working as part of a team, and creating memorable guest experiences? Unicoi State Park & Lodge is looking for reliable, service-focused team members to join our Banquet Team. This role combines both event setup and banquet service, playing a key part in delivering exceptional events, weddings, and group functions.


Position Summary

Under the direction of the Banquet Captain, this position is responsible for the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events. You’ll help bring events to life by ensuring spaces are properly prepared and guests receive attentive, high-quality service throughout their experience.


What You’ll Do

  • Read and execute BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) to ensure accurate event setup
  • Set up banquet rooms, tables, linens, glassware, and service stations to standard
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner
  • Provide knowledgeable service by understanding menus and event details
  • Maintain clean, organized stations before, during, and after events
  • Refill beverages, clear tables, and anticipate guest needs
  • Assist with buffet setup, coffee breaks, receptions, and special functions
  • Break down event spaces and return equipment to proper locations
  • Follow all service standards, safety guidelines, and cash handling procedures
  • Deliver a high level of hospitality through friendly, attentive guest interactions
